The Learning Center was established for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment within a Christian context, which would affirm God’s love and values and at the same time provide a happy place in which to learn and grow.

Toddlers
If you were a visitor peeking through the windows of this classroom, you would observe lots of humorous sights. At story time, you might see the children laughing with glee as they act out finger plays and action songs. They can hokie-pokie with the best. At lunch, you will see children raising their hands high in the air singing, “Hallelujah, Praise the Lord” to thank Jesus for their food. You would be so proud to see these little ones using the child sized flush toilet.
These activities are just part of our daily routine. We also introduce them to various craft textures, glue and cutting. We help them practice their small motor skills as they put little stickers on their projects to take home.
Infant/Pre-Toddler Suite
The suite is staffed by 2 lead teachers and up to 4 aides. We provide loving care for your child aged 3 to 24 months. Our purpose is not to replace mothers and fathers, but to provide a “motherly touch” to ensure your baby is safe, secure, happy, and loved. Your infant/pre-toddler will learn how much Jesus loves them through example, music and finger plays.
The suite is divided into three rooms. In the crawling area we enroll up to 7 infants. The walkers use two separate rooms, one for lunch/snack/crafts and the other for play. They are in groups no larger than 9 children. The suite is self-contained with 2 changing areas, microwave, refrigerator, 2 sinks, and a washer/dryer. The older group has morning and afternoon outdoor play time and will be introduced to making crafts as we encourage them to explore new textures and their environment. Infants go outdoors each day the weather is suitable.
