Abundant Life Christian School's admission procedure is a co-operative effort in which information is exchanged to achieve an appropriate match for your family and ALCS. The process has been designed to familiarize you with our school and to help understand your heart's desire for your child's education.

Getting Started
Call our school to request an information packet. Information will include a letter of introduction, brochure and school handbook which includes tuition information. At that time, you may also ask to set up an appointment to visit the school. Your visit will include a brief family interview with the administrator, a tour of the facility and introductions to teachers at the grade level in which you are interested. You may also have a time of observation in the classroom.
Applications
Grades K-5: Upon completion of your visit you will be provided with an application form. Once your application is filed and reviewed, you will receive a notification letter from the school regarding admission. Grades 6-8: Submission of an application for a middle school student prompts the scheduling of a student interview with the school administrator and members of the middle school teaching staff.

Student Interview (Grades 6-8): At the time of the student interview a written recommendation as well as a copy of the prior year's test scores and current report card need to be submitted. This is also the time that you should bring any remaining questions to discuss with the admissions team. We greatly enjoy this opportunity as it gives us a chance to get better acquainted with your child.
Entrance Testing
Entrance testing during the admissions process is only conducted when there is concern regarding the appropriate placement of the student.
Financial Aid
Financial need is determined by the School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS), an outside organization that evaluates the family resources vs. tuition requirements. Families interested in applying for tuition reduction are required to complete and submit the financial aid application in accordance with ALCS deadlines. Applications may be obtained from the ALCS Financial Administrator.
